Oxford Maker’s Market will be at the Powerhouse Community Arts Center Saturday ,January 6, 2018 from 10am to 4pm, with 20 vendors featuring a wide variety of handmade and homegrown goods. The Oxford Maker’s Market is Mississippi’s original local handmade and homegrown market based in Oxford. It occurs every 1st and 3rd Saturday from 10:00am to 4:00pm on the courthouse lawn of the historic Oxford Square. Organizers say the Oxford Maker’s Market is committed to underexposed and underrepresented talent and handmade goods of any and all styles.
“We provide an outlet for vendors of a wide variety of mediums and a live performance are for performing artists at each event,” said Amanda Heavner, co-director of Oxford Maker’s Market. “The market provides a Young Maker’s Area for budding entrepreneurs as well.”
This is a family friendly event and is free to the public.
