Mississippi Sends Help To The Carolinas in Preparation of Hurricane Matthew

Hurricane Matthew

South Carolina expects to have flooding from Hurricane Matthew.  And Mississippi is sending seven swift water rescue teams to the state to help.  A couple of Mississippi’s emergency management personnel have been assigned to North Carolina.

And Governor Bryant says if Florida needs any assistance, we’ll send people there, too.  He says a lot of states helped Mississippi after Katrina, but Florida sent the most people, including about 15-hundred of its National Guardsmen.
