The public is invited Oct. 26
OXFORD – The Oxford Pachyderm Club is excited to announce that Mississippi’s Lieutenant Governor, Tate Reeves is the featured speaker at its Oct. 26, 2017 luncheon.
Re-elected in 2015, Reeves stands ready to guide the state toward a brighter future by improving educational achievement for students, supporting the creation of high-skilled jobs and responsibly managing taxpayers’ money.
“I’m glad there’s a place for conservatives to gather in Oxford through the Pachyderm Club, and I look forward to sharing ideas on strengthening Mississippi’s economy and raising the education attainment level of future generations,” said Reeves.
Reeves leads the 52-member Senate with a focus on keeping government spending under control, reforming education and making Mississippi a better place to raise a family.
“The Oxford Pachyderm Club continues to attract key leaders in our effort to inform and activate citizens in the country,” said Russ Jones, founding president of the Oxford Pachyderm Club. “We’re honored Lt. Gov. Reeves would take time to address our group.”
The Republican Party affiliated club will meet at The Lodge, formerly Mr. Feathers and The Shack located at 10 Thacker Loop Road, Oxford, Miss from 11:30am to 1:00pm. The cost is $15 for members; $18 for non-members, and $5.00 for students. Reservations can be made at OxfordPachyderm.com.
